Robert (Bob) M. LaStella

Executive Board Member

Bob is a Master Licensed Electrician, born and raised in central Massachusetts, where he worked as a self-employed electrical contractor. In 1992, with his wife and two children, he relocated to east coast of Florida, and he became a member of Local 525. Bob has spent twenty plus years as Launch Pad electrician at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and believes that he and his family are very fortunate to have had the TWU behind him through the years.

During his tenure at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station he has been an active member of the TWU local 525. He has been involved with a number of contract negotiations, as well as, sitting on several committees for the drafting and adoption of policies and procedures between the union and the companies. Bob currently sits as an Executive Board member, where he has served several terms.

As the internal dynamics of our Local 525 evolve, Bob has taken on an active role, of assisting in the rewriting of the local’s by-laws, and was also a large part of that task in 2003.

For many years, Bob has been helping the Union and its members with their difficulties and struggles. He will continue to make himself available for the ongoing challenges ahead.
